Hosting a Youth Exchange student from another country is a challenge and also an opportunity. Involvement with an exchange student challenges a host family to become familiar with another culture, while providing the opportunity to share a student’s hopes and ambitions. These challenges and opportunities promise to enrich the lives of every member of your family.
Because AFS have exchanges with 54 countries, you could have a student from one of these countries living in your home. You will have the opportunity to educate your family about another culture.
We are arranging 22 international exchanges for high school-aged students, university students and community service students to arrive in July 2007.
