When our office receives your gift, we will process it promptly sending it to our Accounting Department for immediate deposit. We will send you a receipt/gift acknowledgement as soon as your gift has been received. Save these receipts for your tax records.
Q: What if I receive goods or services in connection with my gift?
A: The ITO requires that we inform you, via your gift receipt/acknowledgement, of the value of any goods or services you may have received along with the resulting value of your contribution.
Q: What does my money support?
A: AFS India makes it a priority to maintain exceptionally low costs for overhead/administration for the organization so that your gift can benefit our core outreach to students, families, schools, and volunteers as much as possible.
Unrestricted gifts to AFS India support critical needs of the organization, including: staffing, facilities management, volunteer development, information technology, scholarships and fellowships, etc.
Q: Can I give something besides cash?
A: AFS India can handle many types of non-cash gifts. You may contact our office to find out more details.
